Maunah Wadud has been a Northwest Landing Neighborhood resident for the past 47 years and Neighborhood Association President for two years, as a retiree of I.U. Health after 35 years, she began actively participating with the D.I.P.I.N. steering committee and serving on Aspire House and IndyShakes boards. Spending time with family and gardening are her biggest passions.
Vanessa Bush started her journey in the Northwest Landing community over 60 years ago. She's a retiree from AT&T with 30 years of service. After retirement, she worked at Meijer, St. Andrew Presbyterian church childcare, and now C.I.C.O.A. She's the proud mom of two married sons and four grandchildren. Vanessa volunteers with K.I.B. as a block captain, has numerous hours with CMBC INDY, and is now with Meals on Wheels.
She plays pickleball and has started attending a boxing class for women. Vanessa is excited to join the Northwest Landing Neighborhood Association this year, working on the N.W. Neighborhood Assoc. advisory board and the DipIn steering committee.
"My goal is to serve the community with my time and resources in any way I can." she says. These residents can be seen actively serving their neighbors. If you live in the Northwest Landing neighborhood consider becoming an active participant of "Unity In Motion".
