Inferno Step To Health

Through an initiative diabetes campaign with DIP-In, for over a year, we have been experimenting with opportunities to get you out of your comfort zone and into fitness to create a new you.

A Hip-Hop Step Aerobics program, initiated by Crystal Williams, of Flanner House, stepped up to help us help YOU to achieve those goals. Not only can you join in for free here at Flanner House, but also, if you still want to keep socially distanced, you can log on to her FB page to get your step on virtually.

Starting with just six people in 2019, Crystal's classes have grown to over 35 attendees in person, and the results have been phenomenal! There are accounts of participants who have lost 30-40lbs. But as essential as that is a sense of unity amongst their classmates.

At the beginning of this initiative, we honestly did not know how big this would get, and we are not complaining. Crystal's classes kept outgrowing the spaces she held. And it looks like it won't be stopping anytime soon, so check out the flyer included with this article and come and try us out.

It doesn't matter if "don't have rhythm" because pretty much everyone in her class has said the same thing. The only difference is that they chose to overcome that fear with their determination to improve their health.

Please make your way to Flanner House and give it a try. You WON'T be disappointed!
