For the past several months, a search for a new leader at one of our most respected youth organizations has been underway. So, finally, it's time to announce that we would like to congratulate and welcome the new Executive Director for Groundwork Indy, Adam Velazquez!
Adam Velazquez was born and raised in Northwest Indiana. As the son of two Licensed Clinical Social workers, he has always been passionate about helping others meet their potential and accomplish their personal goals. He has spent the last six years primarily on solving veteran homelessness in Marion county.
Adam is very active in the community, enjoys engaging youth in positive activities, loves the outdoors, and has dedicated himself to learning something new every day.
I have already had the pleasure of working alongside Adam as he takes on this new and vital role and I have been VERY encouraged by his heart. Work ethic and knowledge! Our community looks forward to seeing the beautiful things you will bring to such a worthy organization!
