FAM (Food Access Mobile) Launches Transforming School Bus into Food Pantry

Updated: Jan 10

BY MERLIN GONZALES

Faith Hope and Love Community’s (FHL) partnership with Veterans Industries and Art and Greater Works church resulted in the pilot event that serves groceries to dozens of households.

Three TV stations - RTV6, Fox59 and WTTV4 came to cover the story about the uniqueness of this kind of mobile food pantry. Contrary to popular belief, they learned that our goal is not only to provide food but also to connect the clients with other community resources.

FHL is opening the opportunity to partner with different churches in order to mobilize local communities to serve the food desert areas in Indianapolis. For more information, contact Merlin Gonzales at: info@fhinternational.org
