Tim and Sharon Clark with Aspire House Indy got us all together, DONATED a lot they own to the community, gathered volunteers from all over, and turned this lot into a new botanical garden at the corner of Udell and Radar St to make this day possible. So, once again, folks in the NNW were doing FOR the community!
I want to thank Aspirehouse Indy, the Butler Athletic teams and sororities, GroundworkIndy for ALL the pre-work to get this ready and Ian Oehler for his expertise in the gardening planning. White Construction for DONATING their labor and equipment.
The NW Landings Neighborhood Association, Marian University students and the Marian University Writing Lab, the Mind Trust. Also, Global Prep's staff and students for making everyone smile big that day.
To Flanner Farms, Ujamaa Bookstore, IEA, Citizens Energy Group, the Indianapolis Fire Dept., Indy Shakes, and David Powers of Indy Shakes, the architect who designed the plans for the garden. United Healthcare, Liberty Grove Schools, Riverside High School, nine13sports, and ALL the residents who came to help, commune, and laugh with us today!!!
