Aspire House Indy hosted a two-week technology summer camp for girls at Global Prep Academy this summer.
Through the generous funding of the CICF women's fund & The Mind Trust, they were able to sponsor 19 young ladies free of charge. The participants ranged from 6th- 9th grades and were from several schools in the Near Northwest Community.
The daily field trips to colleges, companies, and businesses exposed our young ladies to technology in various areas.
A huge thank you to IEA energy, Allegion security, International Motor Speedway, Butler University, Marian University, IUPUI, Nine13 Sports, 16 Tech Machyne Shop, BizWizz, Game Plow, Republic Airlines, and Lift Academy.
Each day the partner organizations provided tasty, excellent meals and had their employees show the Blatina's how technology works in their workplace. The many women in technology were especially great to witness. Treated to Blatina merchandise; the girls received (New Backpack, lunch bag, and several tee shirts). In addition, our partner companies treated them to gifts at each visit. After a super successful summer camp in 2022, we are proud to offer a Blatina Brainstorm 2.0 in early 2023.
