Amazing Things Happening at Riverside High School!

Recently scholars were also able to take part in a Q & A with legendary performer Ben Vereen. And Riverside students also took on a new role as part of a comedy team in competition at ComedySportz Indianapolis, lifting the Indianapolis Classical Schools team to a win over University High School. Kudos to theater instructor and coach Hannah Boswell, (Herron HS, ’13).

Art students at Riverside, led by our art teacher Liv Reuter (Herron HS, 14‘), were excited to work with local professional wood artist Kimberly McNeelan on a beautiful piece passers-by can now see just outside the school wall. The scholars individually painted the water droplets that are evocative of our home on the White River.

Check out the Allie Jean Hale Classic tournament trophy our girls basketball team brought home in late January. Argonaut Ayriana Clay was named Tournament MVP and Sidney Kirby to all-tournament team in the 52-22 win over Central Christian.

Just like its sister school, Herron High School, academic scores at Riverside show incredible growth for our scholars, placing us among top public high schools in central Indiana. We are truly excited for our state and federal grades to come out later this year, and our senior class hasn’t even started yet!
