Cleo’s Bodega is BACK OPEN! Great Places King Commons Corner

In New York, Chicago, and other cities, the bodega is the heart of the neighborhood. It’s a place you can get the staples for your home or those last-minute items and Cleo’s is back open and ready to serve you!

We know COVID-19 has made many unsure what will happen with access to food. During the early stages of the pandemic, Cleo’s Bodega along with Flanner House became one of the stagings for food distribution for the Near Northwest area, emptying out all the inventory in the bodega to make sure residents had more than enough food.

Now, the store has been fully restocked and ready to serve our resilient neighborhood. Cleo’s is stocked with fresh fruits and vegetables, diary products, and meats along with canned goods. Walk or drive to Cleo’s and meet the staff. Make this your place for needed items. This is your STORE. For US, by US!

After you shop, visit the café for a smoothie or a trap sandwich! Cleo’s Café has partnered with Black and locally owned businesses like: Chef Oya’s The Trap, Foodlovetog, Brewer’s Bakes – Vegan & Vegetarian Cookies, Nature’s Tea Company, Londo’s Flameade, Phases By Fazle.
