Hello Friends of Indy Parks,
I am reaching out for your help to spread the word. Indy Parks is looking to fill over 200 positions for the summer season. We have everything from lifeguards and day camp counselors, to food program monitors and cashiers. The starting pay is $10.00 per hour and up with lifeguards starting at $12 per hour. That’s great money and great opportunity.
I am asking that you please help us share these roles with anyone looking for reliable summer employment. We are specifically looking to fill lifeguard positions at the following parks; Bethel, Northwestway, Krannert, Brookside, Riverside and Indy Island. Reach out to your neighborhood groups, organizations, place on your Next Door and Facebook accounts and newsletters. I have included flyers and a few relevant graphics that you can use on social media to help spread the word. Any language we have on social is good to use, but feel free to use the text below.

Indy Parks is prepping for another great summer! Summer 2021 job positions are posted now at parks.indy.gov. If you know a teen or young adult looking for a summer job, encourage them to apply! We’re hiring lifeguards, day camp counselors, facility attendants, and more!

Registration is open for super fun day camps, with lunch, weekly field trips, swimming, creative programming and more. Locations include Brookside, Frederick Douglass, Christian, Windsor Village Parks and additional locations around the city. Scholarships are available to assist with the cost but are limited. Campers can register on-line at indypark.org.
