The Indianapolis Neighborhood Resource Center (INRC) is now accepting applications for the Legacy Allies program!

This free, two-year program is open to active community members in the Martindale-Brightwood, Northwest Landing, and Norwood neighborhoods seeking hands-on leadership development and mentorship experience.
Participating neighborhood elders and rising leaders will have opportunities to dive deeper into cross-generational neighborhood organizing through training, mentorship, and project planning.
You do not need to be part of a board or organization to apply. What do participants receive?
Leadership training focused on real, practical skills
A $5,000 grant to support neighborhood-based ideas or projects
Connection to other neighborhood leaders across communities
Dedicated support from INRC staff and community partners
A small stipend
You can apply for the program and/or nominate someone you think would benefit from the program.
If you carry the history, care about the future, or feel called to steward what comes next, this program is for you!
Legacy Allies is funded by the Indianapolis African American Quality of Life Initiative (IAAQLI).

Thank you again!
