Morningstar Means Mental Healthiness!

Mental Wellness with Morningstar

In the April issue,  we shared our purpose and the population we are committed to serving well. We are passionate about dismantling the negative stigmatism attached to mental health in black and brown communities. We desire to cultivate beautiful spaces where men, women, and children can expand, take up space, and realize there is power in realizing that you do not have to heal alone. At Morningstar, the sacredness of vulnerability is protected.  How can we guarantee every individual has this experience?

At Morningstar, we are more than just a team. We are a community of professionals, from therapists to administrators, who are deeply committed to your well-being. We believe that true healing happens within a community, and we are here to offer that to anyone who has suffered in silence. You are not alone in your journey.

Our services are person-centered and can occur within our Wellness Center, in your home, at a park, or any place within the community. The goal is for individuals to be in a safe and comfortable environment. We have therapists and therapeutic mentors who specialize in the following:

If you have any questions about our services or would like to learn more about the Wellness Center, we are here to help. You can reach us by emailing morningstar@flannerhouse.org or calling us at 317-681-4406. In the upcoming issues, we will provide more detailed information about all the services offered at the Wellness Center and introduce you to our therapists. We are committed to keeping you informed and supported on your mental wellness journey. The next issue will be released in June.
