Flanner House Farm is excited to announce the opening of its greenhouse this summer, as well as many new exciting additions to our already bountiful farm.
Our farmers have planned community events, classes, and programs for our neighbors to experience gardening in exciting ways that are good for our health and great for our planet.
With growing seed shortages, we have created an initiative for the northwest side community to build a seed bank. We offer community gardening classes to members and in-depth instructions on selecting and preparing foods that are nutrient-dense and provide healing properties for the body and soul.
We will be building an outdoor classroom area, multiple accessible raised garden beds at a waist-high height. Our goal is to welcome community members of all ages into our space to learn, relieve stress, and heal minds and bodies with everything nature has to offer. We hope you will join us; stay tuned for information and dates of classes coming this spring. We can’t wait to plant the seeds of change with YOU!
